1995 р. – graduated from Kharkiv Military University with a degree in Radio Engineering
2003 р. – Candidate of Technical Sciences in the specialty 05.11.13 – Devices and methods for controlling and determining the composition of substances. He defended his dissertation at NTU «KhPI». The topic of his thesis was «Device and polarization-optical method for identifying combustible components in multicomponent gas environments»
2006 р. – certificate of Senior Research Associate in the specialty «Fire Safety»
2015 р. – Doctor of Technical Sciences, specialty 21.02.03 – Civil Protection. The dissertation was defended at the State Institution «Institute of Environmental Geochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine». The topic of the doctoral thesis is «Creation of a comprehensive system for monitoring emergency situations in the regions of Ukraine»
