Consumer Electronics Show 2022 is one of the largest exhibitions of consumer electronics and technology, which annually brings its innovative developments, patented technologies and concepts as well-known market players and startups. For the first time, users and critics were able to see hundreds of developments and concepts from Google, LG, Samsung, Asus, Sony, Razer and other industry titans.

For the first time, 8 Ukrainian startups selected by the Ukrainian Startup Foundation (USF) are participating in the largest consumer electronics exhibition CES 2022. This year the exhibition was held offline from January 5 to 7 in Las Vegas and brought together more than 2,000 companies.

Teachers, graduate students and scientists of the Department of Information Technology Security are actively conducting research within the Ukrainian-American research project “Quantum-driven security in emerging 5G networking”.

At the end of December 2021, Kotukh Yevhen, a doctoral student at the Department of Information Technology Security, as a representative of the Ukrainian project team, paid a working visit to the University of Colorado Springs (USA) at the invitation of the American side.

Mr. Sang-Yun Chang, a professor at the University of Colorado Springs and a board member of the Silicon Valley Cybersecurity Institute, paid a working visit to Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics as part of a collaboration between the Department of Information Security and the University of Colorado Springs (USA).

From November 24 to 25, 2021, he had the opportunity to communicate with teachers of the department, as well as with the team of the Ukrainian-American scientific project “Quantum-driven security in emerging 5G networking”.

On November 22, 2021 at 16:40 an open lecture was held for applicants majoring in 125 “Cybersecurity” on “The essence of the development, standardization and application of promising national standards of cryptographic transformations in Ukraine” by the Head of the Supervisory Board – Chief Designer JSC “IIT”, winner of the State Prize , Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of BIST KhNU. Karazin Gorbenko Ivan Dmitrievich.

In his presentation, Ivan Dmitrievich spoke about the achievements and prospects in the field of cryptographic protection of information at the national level, considered examples of successful use of standardization of cryptographic transformations in various fields, focused on issues and prospects of new national standards.
