From 5 to 7 October, on the basis of the Synergy Science Park of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Problems of Information Communications. Science and Technology” (IEEE International Scientific-Practical Conference “Problems of Infocommunications. Science and Technology” (PIC S&T-2021).

The purpose of the conference is to exchange information on theoretical, scientific and practical achievements, as well as to generalize and systematize the results and experience of implementing scientific research in the development of new information and communication technologies and planning modern information communication systems.

On October 5, under the auspices of the AСM, an international webinar “Modern trends in information technology in science, education and engineering” was held remotely.

Career Month is held from October 1 to October 31 at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. Partner companies have prepared presentations, webinars, testing, competitions and other activities for students.

On September 13-19, 2021, the Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics will host the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Information Security and Information Technologies” within the framework of the “Digital Reality” Forum, dedicated to topical areas of information technologies development in Ukraine and the world.

The Department of Information Technology Security takes an active part in the work of the conference, so on September 15 and 16, the teachers of the department are scheduled to speak at breakout sessions, which will be held in a remote and face-to-face format.

On December 8-10, 2021, Baku (Azerbaijan) will host the International Conference “Secure infotelecommunication systems: from theory to practice”.

On October 22, the International Conference “Information Security: Problems and Prospects” will take place in Baku (Azerbaijan).

The conference was organized by the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics in cooperation with the University of Azerbaijan.

Rector of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Valerii Semenets, started the implementation of the project “Quantum technologies for the protection of modern 5G networks” by signing a grant agreement. This project of the interdisciplinary research team of KNURE became the winner of the competition on cybersecurity of the USA and Ukraine 2021, organized by the Civil Research and Development  Foundation of the USA (CRDF Global).

The project will analyze, design, create and apply quantum computing and quantum-stable methods to ensure the security of modern 5G networks.

The 7th International Conference on Computer and Technology Applications (ICCTA 2021) was held in Vienna, Austria, on July 13-15, 2021.
